Learning and Resources

The Doctors Office Information Technology Project was a three year initiative sponsored by the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services to assist small to mid sized physician practices with the adoption and implementation of Electronic Health Record Systems.

A website was developed to provide technical assistance at all stages of the implementation roadmap.  DOQ-IT University is an interactive, web-based learning environment available to physician practices, offering learning tools to facilitate the adoption and application of Health Information Technology (HIT) and care management strategies.
